Sapra Stars In Jonnie Stapleton’s New Comedy-Horror Film

Los Angeles, CA – For fans of films that traditionally appear at Halloween, audiences are in for a treat. There’s a new comedy-horror film on the horizon entitled Dead of Night. From the mind of award-winning director, Jonnie Stapleton and production house Music Love Movies, the feature film stars Sapra and offers a new take on the genre. Sapra also produces the film and wrote new music for it.

“We are thrilled to introduce an upcoming film project that boasts a compelling narrative set against the stunning backdrop of Apple Valley, California,” said Stapleton.
Leading man, Sapra, was the inspiration for Stapleton to write the film’s script after hearing some of Sapra’s musical compositions. Sapra portrays Ravi, an aspiring rapper waiting for his big break. He takes a job as a night watchman on a cattle ranch to support himself in the meantime. He’s introduced to the ranch’s seemingly ordinary residents, but Ravi feels that something isn’t right. He begins to feel watched by unseen eyes and stalked by dark figures, while troubled by unexplained noises in the night. As evets escalate, Ravi wonders what good a gun and a flashlight are against unseen, sinister forces.

Ready to submit his resignation, Ravi is convinced to stay a little longer by the rancher. Ravi enters a rap contest, but is forced to make a decision that will have far reaching consequences – to his career and the ranch’s residents.

Sapra is joined by a cast that includes Ren Asher as Maryann; Cat Masterson as Becky; Sean Kane as Pike; Conner Bolton as Wes; and Joshua Longfellow Wright as the cop. The cast also includes Ty Nitti as the cowboy; Jess Cooley as the priest; Johnny Catfish as the man in black; Ruben Bejar as the newborn child; Nick Kane as the jangled man; and Monica Dahl as the waitress.
