National Award winner veteran film-maker Pradeep Sarkar, noted for making sensitive and powerful films. Like Parineeta and Mardaani, passed away today after a prolonged illness at the age of 67.
United by grief the b-town paid tribute to the filmmaker in their own way. Actor Randeep Hooda who is currently shooting for his next ‘Pachhattar Ka Chorra’.
He also penned down a heartfelt note for the late director expressing his desire to learn and work with him that will now never get fulfilled.
Well for the unversed Hooda had signed a film with the filmmaker. And the shooting was about to commence in June this year but with the unfortunate demise of Pradeep Dada everything has come to a standstill.
Taking to Twitter on Friday morning, Actor Randeep Hooda shared a picture of the late filmmaker he wrote,
“Was really looking forward to work and learn from you this June Dada. Your sudden passing is a great loss to the entertainment industry and the audience.. you did what you loved to do till the last day of your life.. always an inspiration .. may you rest in peace Dada .. Om Shanti”.
On the professional front, Randeep was last seen in his series CAT, which was hit worldwide.
The actor will be resuming his shoot for Veer Savarkar after his leg recovery. He is currently shooting for his Pachhatar Ka Chorra’ with Neena Gupta.
