R&B Artist Jason Patel enters 2023 with his new track 6iX, out on… To accompany the track, Patel has an enticing visualizer all connected with space and multiple parallel worlds which reflect the subconscious of his mind in the state of the track.

Born and raised in the UK, Jason’s artistic influences come from playing in his Dad’s working-class pub as well as Bollywood Indian music played in his family home. It was also when Patel lived in Philadelphia that he fell in love with R&B music. Jason attended one of the top drama schools in London where really solidified his sound by transferring all his training into his music career. Jason is an enchanting clash of cultures, evident in his hybrid blended sound. Patel is also an actor known for playing Mowgli in The Jungle Book musical adaptations and more recently the lead role in an upcoming feature film.

6iX is a beautiful Alt-R&B immersive song with a melancholic bliss feeling. It’s about making these multiple attempts to make something work but in the end, it’s failing. It’s failing you. The 6iX visualizer is super simplistic, it’s an insight into being in a space. This black vacuum where is infinite and beyond ourselves. It reflects the emotional intensity of the tracks and the idea of navigating space as your mind and discovering your subconscious; the peaceful moments, the chaos, and the in-between that collide clash and work together in harmony.
