In the year 1905 Abanindranath Tagore’s painting ‘Bharat Mata’ which plays a very important role in the history of the freedom struggle. Contemporary Painter and Singer Soumita Saha’s Painting titled “Bharat Mata” recently got exhibited in Venezuela. Art Gallery ‘ Aries, Galleria de Arte ‘ has organized a unique exhibition ” Manos a la Obra” where artists from all over the world took part. Many artists from Brazil, Nigeria, Singapore, Taiwan, Austria, Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the U.S.A, and India took part in the exhibition. Soumita who is one of the seven artists representing India chose a magnificently unique way to represent the country. Her canvas chose to convey more about her nationality than her ‘Artist biography’ part. Her painting “Bharat Mata” coruscates to beautify Soumita’s canvas giving a huge shout-out to where she hails from.
