Recently released film, Khuda Haafiz 2 had several film critiques pass mixed reviews about the Bollywood flick.
But what caught the attention of many in the Vidyut Jamwal film is the character of Kalki played by actress Monica Sharma.
Although the actress may have had a comparitively lesser screentime than the others. She proved that the strength of the character is more important than the length of the character.
Read on to see what the actress has to say about her role in the film.
Narrating her experience after she completed one of the most demanding scenes in the film, she says,
“So, this one time I had this emotional breakdown of a scene where my character has to stab Thakur ji (Sheeba Chadha’s character) after which she had this emotional meltdown. Faruk sir (director Faruk Kabir) briefed me very well for this particular scene. And I knew I could do this scene just once given how very intense it was. Usually such intense scenes take everything out of you, as they’re so demanding. And the first take has to be your last and the best”
Narrating further, she says,
“So, I braced up and gave it my all! And when I finished it- My god, I cant put it into words! The whole set was clapping! I saw Faruk sir, and his team of ADs clapping and telling me how well I performed. The direction team has been very kind to me. I am so very grateful’.
Apart from Khuda Haafiz 2, the actress was also seen in the film Jal Wayu Enclave which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
