Mohit Malik is as method as it gets. Not only does the actor go method when playing his characters on-screen, but he also religiously works out in Cape Town, in fact, even in between shooting for stunts.
The actor has been frequently spotted working out in the mornings or at the day’s end, sometimes even in-between the stunt setups. Ask him about it, and Mohit says,
“Working out has managed to keep me centred, both mentally and physically. I am somebody who goes all in. And when I am working out, I let go off all the stress and my thoughts and just focus on my exercises. And this habit has helped me immensely even while performing stunts.”
“My body is my temple. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind and vice versa. This is something that I have always believed in. A good workout gives me a morale boost, elevates me, lifts my mood and even rejuvenates me.”
While the actor has always hit the gym to remain in shape, he started preparing himself physically to build up my endurance and stamina right after signing KKK12.
“I’ve always wanted to do Khatron Ke Khiladi and when the opportunity presented itself, I said yes in a heartbeat. And given how hectic the shoot schedule and how tough the stunts have been, I’m glad I started my prep early on. And working out has been my go-to respite and I do not mind this grind at all. Fitness is a way of life for me and I ensure that I don’t skip my workouts at all,” he concludes.
