Shahid Kapoor is all abuzz for his latest release Jersey, which is a Bollywood remake of the Telegu film of the same name.

With a new trailer released, anticipation is surely building around the film. And Shahid has done some vigorous preparation.
In a recent interview, he said,
“We did four months of training. We started in Bombay and began playing on hard surfaces. We started with throwdowns. I used to spend four-five hours a day playing cricket for four months and then on set also a lot”.
He even revealed that he played a lot of cricket and enjoyed it. Even though he received injuries.
He also added that there’s no special effects in the film and he played proper cricket. On proper pitches with state-level players and tried to keep it legit.
Co-starring Mrunal Thakur, Jersey is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. It is set to release in UK cinemas worldwide on 14th April 2022.
