Punjabi film Maa starring Divya Dutta and Gippy Grewal will be hitting the big screens on May 6, 2022.
The film is a tribute to all the mothers, who sacrifice everything unconditionally in their life just to raise their children, hence the makers decided to release it around Mothers Day.
The film stars Divya Dutta in titular character while of a mother, while reportedly Gippy Grewal and Babbal Rai will play her sons. Gippy will be portraying the character of a farmer. Whereas Babbal Rai for the very first time will be seen essaying the role of a sportsperson.
Dutta is doing a Punjabi film after a long gap. Apart from Maa, her two Hindi films Dhaakad and Aankh Micholi are also all set to release in May.
Maa also stars Aarushi Sharma, Raghveer Boli and Gurpreet Ghuggi in important parts.
