Born in Fiji, raised in Canada my passion for lashes goes a long way back. I remember going through my mom’s makeup bag and being intrigued by her lash curlers. I would keep the lash curler with me all the time and would get into trouble every time I would lose or break it.
As I grew up and got older, I left my passion behind. I got so busy with life, work, and kids that my passion was put on the back burner but thanks to a friend I was recently redirected back to my passion.
So, what is a Lash Lift & Tint?
A lash lift is a semi-permanent perm treatment for your lashes that gives an eye-popping result by creating a natural curl and lift to your natural lashes. A lash tint is the quickest way to get darker lashes without the mess or fuss of heavy, clumpy mascara. A lash tint is completely safe and does not hurt when done professionally.
A lash lift can last anywhere from 6-8 weeks depending on the client’s lash growth and is the perfect alternative to lash extensions as the treatment itself takes half the time. It can cost anywhere from $75 – $120. The procedure takes approx. 60 to 80 minutes plus you get free naps with every lash lift and tint service.
The product I use is made in Italy and it gives natural lashes a soft and greater silkiness, it also nourishes the hair structure. It is the only treatment in the world clinically proven to thicken the hair, increasing thickness by an average of 24% in just three sessions.
The good thing about a lash lift is that it’s very low maintenance but you need to properly care for your lashes for the first 24 hours.
Be gentle with your lashes, NO rubbing
Do NOT get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours
Do NOT use harsh products on your eyes/lashes. (Ex: Waterproof mascara, heavy oil cleansers)
No eye makeup for the first 24 hours
No swimming, saunas, or direct steam to the face.
No sleeping on your face
After 24 hours you can get back on your normal routine without any additional changes.
