The movie is inspired by the landmark 2016 event when the Indian Air Force became the first defence force to induct women in combat roles. The movie stars Kangana Ranaut and is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead.

The makers released the trailer recently, and it promises loads of action and patriotism.

Michael O’Dwyer was infamous for the horrendous Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919 in which over 300 Indians were killed.

The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Harman Baweja in which Kartik will play a pilot who spearheaded the operation and displayed exemplary bravery and courage in the process. Writer and Producer, Harman Baweja said that “Captain India” is the film that strikes the perfect balance of an inspiring human story and an exhilarating cinematic experience.
