Jaan’s stint in Bigg Boss 14 won him a loyal fan base not only in India, also worldwide.
His singing came in lime light in a Bigg Boss task where he was supposed to engage the housemates and the audience opposite a fellow singer contestant. Jaan won with maximum votes, Infact the snippets of his singing were trending on all the social media platforms.
Sung by Jaan and mixed by Dj Shadow, Humko Sirf Tumse Pyar Hai is a fun, cheeky track that pays homage to the sound and style of Bollywood in a true Jaan and Dj Shadow fashion. It perfectly captures their signature style, for the global audience.
“I’m excited to see how people around the world are going to respond to the track. People apart from Indians may not understand the words but they will be receptive towards the beats”, says Jaan.
“While growing up, barsaat was one of my favourite movies and this song has been always close to my heart. And once Jaan and myself discussed about a potential collaboration, I thought this would be the perfect song since the original was sung by his dad Kumar Sanu. Working with Jaan was a great experience. We both knew we wanted to keep the soul of the song alive while adding fresh elements to cater to the youth. Lots of future collaborations planned out. My next song features Arjun Kanungo along with Dutch DJ / Producer Sandro Silva. And to use one of the lines from the song. I would like to say Tum pe dil kya “JAAN” Nisar Hai”, says Dj Shadow.
