The film was one of the firsts from the ‘women telling women’s story’ box. Sonam made an unconventional choice. As always to pave the way for more such empowering stories.
The 2018 film was about the lives of four female buddies. Their struggles with marriage, career, kids, stereotyped standards of beauty and morality by society.
Directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor. Veere Di Wedding stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania.
Apart from this, Sonam will be seen in the much-anticipated crime thriller. It is titled ‘Blind’ directed by Shome Makhija.
