Manchester-based rapper Dadaflow releases the brand new track ’47 Gang’ featuring Safy.
Following his debut single, ‘Naya Din’ Dadaflow kicks start 2021 with his brand new track ’47 Gang’. ’47 Gang’ is the street anthem that crosses borders and boundaries. Rapping in Punjabi over a Hip-Hop heavy production with Drill influences over it, Dadaflow sets the bar high on this collaboration with fellow rapper Safy.
Hailing from Manchester, 26-year-old Dadaflow enters the scene with worldwide influences; born in Pakistan, his family migrated to Italy before eventually moving to the UK. With strong cross-cultural influences, Dataflow has been experimenting with finding his sound in Hip-Hop through story-telling in Urdu and Punjabi.
With influences drawing from the likes of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to Big L and Tupac, Dadaflow treats Hip-Hop as poetry and mastered the art of songwriting from a young age. Documenting his struggles through Hip-Hop has allowed him to grow in the underground scene and find his own unique sound. Accompanied by a striking music video, featuring his hometown, cars, and crew, ’47 Gang’ focuses on the story of migration and unity.
DaDaflow states, “It does not represent just my journey but the journey of all the people who had to leave their motherland and loved ones to go “Pardes” abroad for a better life. And how with the help of people I know and people who share the same struggle as me have taken me to this stage in my life.”
’47 Gang’ is the start of more to come from Dadaflow this year, with promised collaborations under his belt, he will continue to make his mark in desi rap across the world.
