Back to the 80’s

Back To The 80’s is a song that will take you back to the good old days of 80’s pop music, leaving you feeling all types of feels. The track is filled with that nostalgia feeling but it still gives you that new age edge.

In the words of Armand;

“Back To The 80’s has the potential to be something very special in people lives. Especially with the times we find ourselves in at the moment. Perhaps this song can take you back to the good old days. When things were more simpler.

Reminiscing of the days when they were young and in love but also give you a hope for the future. And for someone who wasn’t born in the 80’s like myself, we all have an idea what the 80’s felt like and when I was creating this song with Nic and our producer McK, I got to be in that era for a little while.”

Nic shared the significance behind the song for him as well;

” Growing up, I was heavily influenced by 80’s music. So when I heard McK’s instrumental for the first time, I jumped at the opportunity to do the collab with him and AJ.

I’ve always wanted to do something like this. The timing just felt right. Back To The 80’s is a classic mid-tempo bob. It leaves you with feelings of young love and nostalgia, drawing inspiration from music that was reminiscent of that magical era. With so many great acts like Wham, Michael Jackson and A-ha.”

Armand Joubert and Nic Billington are two magnificent pop artists in their own right. They have proven that music brings people together. It is all about collaboration after all.
