I-Sick Releases Switch Sides – a Bangla-English (Bangl-Ish) Hip Hop blend Bangladeshi born and Brooklyn Raised, Istiac Ahmed aka I-Sick just released a fresh Bangla-English Hip Hop blend in the form of “Switch Sides.”
The Bengali and English lyrics and vocals are penned and performed by I-Sick. “Switch Sides” is produced by Stave Sonata and the video is shot and directed by IMI. “Switch Sides” caters to all Bengalis and Americans alike and even beyond.
I-Sick has been a part of and collaborated with a Bangla Hip Hop group Blazin Annex alongside Dee Corter (aka Stave Sonata), Ah-Murda and Bangully. Blazin Annex’s first album, The Takeover, was produced by Phillip Gomes and released and distributed by Ektaar Music. Following The Takeover, the second album was released in 2010, entitled, Bump Your Stereo. It was released and distributed by G-Series. By 2012, Blazin Annex has started to work on separate projects whilst still being a part of the scene collectively. 2012 saw I-Sick and Ah-Murda create “Poison” which was released and distributed by DesiHipHop.com.
