ROCKING THE DAISIES 2019 – CAN DO!
South Africa: ROCKING THE DAISIES 2019 TO USE CAN DO!’S CAN UP INNOVATION! In 2018 CAN DO! Introduced the can cup – a world-first innovation by CAN DO!, making it a responsible alternative to single-use plastic cups at Rocking the Daisies. This year all drinks will be served from can cups and festival-goers are encouraged to re-use their cups. We’ve taken a huge step to make a difference in our environment but in order to make an even bigger impact, we need your help too!
Plastic cups, straws and single-use plastics are some of the main items which generate waste at festivals, and since launching this initiative last year, CAN DO! and Rocking the Daisies significantly decreased the amount of plastic waste generated at the 2018 event.
Cans re-purposed and recycled indefinitely, make them a great choice for our environment.
ABOUT CAN DO!
CAN DO! is the consumer-facing brand for Nampak Bevcan which is Africa’s largest can manufacturer of aluminum beverage cans. They represent the youth of South Africa who portray the unbreakable nature of the cans they manufacture. The people that take the road less travelled, the go-getters, the dreamers, the achievers, the risk-takers and the believers, those that can proudly say “Like a CAN, I am UNBREAKABLE.”
Furthermore, as a brand CAN DO! certainly aims to enable, entertain and inspire the youth of South Africa, through various initiatives powered by their mother brand – Nampak Bevcan. Similarly, their purpose is to encourage the youth of South Africa to develop, maintain and nurture their unbreakable characters. Also to represent this by choosing cans when buying their favourite beverage.
