NEEL’s Catchy “Mashooqa” A Summer Time Hit Get You Singing
NEEL is an R&B/Pop, Bollywood-influenced singer-songwriter and producer based out of NYC. Born and raised in New Jersey, NEEL is influenced by both Indian and American cultures, which he translates beautifully in his music.
Surrounded by music from a young age, NEEL expresses his musical abilities through his wide-ranged vocals and by playing piano, keyboard, harmonium, tabla, drums, and guitar. Vocally trained in Eastern and Western classical music, NEEL is versatile in many genres, especially Urban Desi.
NEEL has produced and sung for Bollywood films and created his own original music. In 2017, he composed songs for the first Marathi-American movie, “A Dot Com Mom.” He also sang a song with Javed Ali entitled “Ishq Allah.” NEEL’s song “Ride” has amassed over 270K plays on Spotify. In addition, one of his Bollywood covers has surpassed 2.3M plays on SoundCloud. NEEL was recently awarded “Best Male Singer” amongst competitors around America at the iFab Music Awards. Influenced by the likes of Boyz II Men, Charlie Puth, Mohammad Rafi, Arijit Singh, and Justin Timberlake, he is building a following through his unique touch on Pop music.
