It’s World Tattoo Day today and we bring some Bollywood celebs who have endured the pain and got themselves inked. Some have the names of their loved ones on their body or an inspirational quote or devotional figure.
Here take a look at 10 of our favourite Bollywood celeb tats:
Saif Ali Khan
The Nawab of Pataudi got himself the name of the woman he loves tattooed shortly after he started dating her. Saif Ali Khan has Kareena Kapoor’s – now Khan -, name inked on his left forearm. Isn’t that a sweet dedication of love?
Sanjay Dutt Sanjay’s tattoos include his parents’ names – Nargis and Sunil Dutt. He has a four-inch Tibetan Om with his zodiac sign, Leo, and his lucky number 1 below it.
Bollywood’s khiladi – Akshay Kumar has the name of his son Aarav tattooed on his back.
Bollywood’s desi girl Priyanka Chopra has a beautiful ink dedicated to her papa. The actress has the words “Daddy’s lil girl…” tattooed on her hand. <3
Arjun Kapoor who lost his mom prior to the release of his first film has an minimalist tattoo in honour of her on his right wrist. It looks so adorable.
Ranbir has a tattoo of the word Awara on his right wrist. The tat is a tribute to the classic 1951 movie of the same name starring Raj Kapoor.
Ajay who is a devout follower of Lord Shiva, has a tattoo on his chest of the divine.
Alia Bhatt has got the word Pataaka inked on her back – just below the neck. We think it’s a pretty apt tat given that she a Pataaka – a firecracker.
Kangana has two tats adorning her body. One is a menacing winged sword on the back of her neck and the other is a cherubic angel.
Sushmita Sen’s tattoo says, “Aut Viam inveniam aut faciam”, a Latin saying which translates to, “I shall either find a way or make my own”.
