We all know that Katrina Kaif has her hands full. The actress is currently shooting for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and shall soon start shooting with Shah Rukh Khan in Aanand L Rai’s movie and also with Aamir Khan in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’.
However, Anurag Basu’s upcoming directorial, the long delayed ‘Jagga Jasoos,’ has been giving her some major career discomfort.
The makers, who’re quite concerned about the film’s box-office prospects, have been trying to convince her to do a promotional song for the film.
However, Kat has reportedly turned them down categorically.
Is ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor the reason behind this or is it because of her busy schedule?
A source close to the film said:
“Katrina and Ranbir were a couple when the film had rolled, but they broke apart mid-way, and this had created a lot of friction on the sets. However, they still acted like absolute professionals and finished shoot. But now Katrina doesn’t want to shoot any more than she already has. She gave the makers a firm no, when she was approached for the item song. However, she will be promoting the film alongside Ranbir”.
Produced by Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is written and directed by Anurag Basu. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Adah Sharma in lead roles. The movie is scheduled to release on 14th July, 2017.
