Sony Pictures Entertainment released the motion poster of their upcoming sci-fi action adventure ‘Passengers’ which brings together Hollywood’s two superstars Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, for the first time . The film is about two strangers (Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence) who must come together to save the lives of 5,000 people on a journey from Earth to a colony planet. A journey that will challenge them, change them, through love, loss and ultimate battle for survival forcing them to make choices that will put everything at stake.
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are two passengers on board a spaceship transporting them to a new life on another planet. The trip takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them 90 years before they reach their destination. As Jim and Aurora try to unravel the mystery behind the malfunction, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction… only to be threatened by the imminent collapse of the ship and the discovery of the truth behind why they woke up.
The passengers releases in India on January 6, 2017 in 3D in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
