Aishwarya's performance in Sarbjit leaves everyone spellbound!

Omung Kumar’s Sarbjit received a lot of appreciation for its first official trailer that was launched yesterday at a suburban multiplex. There was a lot of buzz around the look and performance of the characters, especially Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda. The gorgeous actress garnered a lot of accolades from the industry and media for her powerful and perseverant performance. Many from B-town took to twitter to appreciate her act.

Aishwarya is seen in the role of Dalbir Kaur who fought courageously for 23 years to release her brother Sarbjit who was wrongly imprisoned in Pakistan. Though the actress has previously gone de-glam for a few films, she has taken a step forward to do full justice in this film. With grey hair, freckled skin and popping nerves, the actress has put forth the physical changes that Dalbir Kaur underwent throughout the struggle. It’s not only the look but also her performance that gives viewers chills down the spine. She surely exuded the distress of the mishap and injustice done to her brother and the longing to bring him back to his motherland.

Below are some reactions to her powerful performance:
