Mohit Suri gives thumbs up to Mastizaade

Milap, who wrote the dialogues for Suri’s Rs 100 crore grosser Ek Villain, shares a very close bond with him and they have genuine admiration and respect for each other. In fact, Milap and co-writer Mushtaq Sheikh, showed the script to Mohit before the film went on floors for his feedback and suggestions and Mohit was so impressed that he did not suggest a single change! He thought the script was rip roaringly funny and he was practically on the floor laughing throughout the narration! Every second of the script was hilarious and outrageous.

Additionally, after the film was cleared at the censors, when Milap showed the film to Mohit, Mohit was shocked and congratulated Milap on how much of the naughty comedy had survived in the film. Infact, the final film that audiences will see in theatres on Jan 29 was almost entirely unhurt during the process of certification. Therefore Milap’s vision of the naughty comedy Mastizaade remained true to the original script.

Milap says,

“Mohit has been a friend since even before “Ek Villain” where I wrote dialogues for him. So when Mushtaq and I made him hear Mastizaade we knew he would be honest! It was so amazing to see him die laughing through the narration and also when he saw portions of the film! Comedy isn’t his genre but he still fell down laughing! Feels great to be appreciated by such a distinguished, successful and acclaimed director!”

Directed by Milap Zaveri, the movie starring Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das is scheduled to release on 29 January 2016.
