This exclusive behind the scenes footage is extremely special. Why? It’s because we get an insight from the late Yash Chopra’s perspective on the film itself. YRF studios has compiled this never before seen footage!
In part two, the clip begins with Kajol telling us small stories on how DDLJ has influenced every day people’s lives. In this as well, designer Manish Malhotra tells us how he chose the infamous mint green outfit. Yash Chopra’s wife Pam Chopra also speaks about the film and many others too.
In part three, the clip begins with the number of awards DDLJ received and a clip from Aditya Chopra’s acceptance speech when receiving the Best Director Filmfare Award! Probably very rare footage any of us have ever seen where Adi is in front of cameras!
Karan Johar who was a costume designer, then assistant director and even played Shahrukh’s friend in the film. Karan talks about how influential DDLJ has been in today’s world for all of us film-lovers. A film professor also talks about how he teaches this film in his classes and how important this film is to the industry and how every filmmaker should learn from such a film.
