Dev Anand Sahab’s discovery, Devshi Khanduri is taking on a whole new avatar as a burkha wearing Muslim in her upcoming film Khel Toh Ab Shuru Hoga with Ruslaan Mumtaz.
The lovely actress was spotted shooting in Lucknow in a black lace scarf and burkha for the film. She will even be seen speaking in Urdu and has under gone training on how to understand the body language, deliver her dialogues and the persona of a devote Muslim woman. She even lost weight for the role. Speaking about the role Devshi Khanduri said,
“Since this is my first Muslim character on screen, I had to prepare myself well to be able to carry it with ease. I’m thrilled to have received this opportunity.”
