Daksh Kubba, lead vocalist of Canadian Indo-Pak band naQsh, celebrated Mother’s Day entertaining fellow South Asians at the glittering High Chai event held at Royal King Palace in Surrey, Canada! The elegant tea social, organized by Citara Events, featured an afternoon tea menu, pop-up shops, a fashion walk with clothes by House Farola, and gave attendees a chance to win great prizes. Daksh’s lively performance in particular made the occasion more enjoyable for guests.
Smartly dressed in a crisp formal black sherwani by Aum Attire, Daksh captivated the audience with his own wonderful renditions of timeless numbers such as “Maeri” by Euphoria, “Teri Deewani” by Kailash Kher and “Raabta” by Arijit Singh. His medley of popular Arijit Singh songs “Kabira,” “Tum Hi Ho,” “Phir Le Aaya Dil,” “Love Me Thoda Aur” and “Kabhi Jo Badal Barse” was applauded by the audience, which joyfully sang along.
naQsh is currently busy shooting the video of “Pagli,” the first video off their debut album which is due to release next month.
