IC 814 director Anubhav Sinha calls actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya ‘a treasure’

Multiple National award-winning filmmaker Anubhav Sinha who’s latest web series IC 814 is grabbing all the eye-balls, praised highly actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya who is playing a pivotal role in the web series – alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Pankaj Kapur, Arvind Swamy among others.

 

 

Anubhav Sinha took to Instagram and wrote:

“Dibyendu Bhattacharya. One rare actor who knows the fine art of not doing much. Thanks for doing this man. You’re a treasure.”

He further added,

“IC 814. The Kandahar Hijack. @netflix_in Streaming now.”

The web series is based on the real-life incident of the hijacking of Indian Airlines Flight 814 that took place in 1999. In the show Dibyendu Bhattacharya played the character of Abhijeet Kumar, senior officer in the Ministry of External Affairs.
