Muskan Verma opens up about her series Inspector Avinash

Actress Muskan Verma will be making her OTT debut with the series Inspector Avinash. The actress considers herself extremely lucky to have got this opportunity.

Instagram will load in the frontend.

“Thanks to Lord Krishna, I am lucky enough to get the chance to work with director and writer Neeraj Pathak who gave me this break. I shared screen space with Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Rautela. My role has all the shades, it’s a strong character,” she says.

Talking about her character, and how she prepared for her role, she says,

“My self being from a middle class family I totally identify with my character Bunny. She aspires to make her father proud, and this is the relationship which I have with my father as well. I am a police constable’s daughter, who is poor. She is from U.P. So I worked on my language. I had to do some research. I personally visited a police quarters in Lucknow and met the daughters and families and that helped me a lot to build my character.”

She loved working with Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Rautela.

“It was amazing and Randeep Sir is an institution of acting. I learnt a lot working with him and Urvashi. She treated me like a younger sister. And that made me comfortable and helped us create magic on screen.”

Meanwhile, the actress is on the lookout for some great work opportunities.

“I am lucky that my first show is coming on Jio cinema the biggest studio in India. I am an actor and I am greedy for good work. I want to work on all the best OTT platforms. As far as bold scenes on OTT go, if my character really requires intimate scenes and if it is done aesthetically, I am open to it. But unnecessary bold content doesn’t excite me,” she says, adding, “I am working on my craft and want to be known as an actor. I want to work with the best of the directors and create my own name and place in the industry. A couple of very interesting projects are in the pipeline.”
