Two of Indian cinema’s most iconic names are set to share the screen once again as Madhuri Dixit joins Mr. Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 as part of the grand birthday celebrations special week. Premiering on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV, the actress will be seen on the popular quiz show to promote the upcoming Marathi edition of Kon Honar Crorepati, which premieres on October 12.
While both Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit have been part of some of the biggest moments in Hindi cinema, their collaborations on screen have been remarkably few. Returning to the Kaun Banega Crorepati hotseat, Madhuri Dixit shared,
“There is a certain warmth in meeting Amitabh Sir on the KBC stage that is difficult to put into words. I have been a part of this journey as a guest before, and coming back now with Kon Honar Crorepati makes the moment even more special. What stayed with me most was how naturally that familiar camaraderie came back. At the same time, I could feel that I was stepping into something completely new. Kon Honar Crorepati is my first journey as a game show host, and the fact that it is in Marathi makes it even closer to me. I am looking forward to meeting people through their stories, their dreams and, of course, their love for the game.”
Her latest appearance brings her back to the KBC hotseat in a special segment with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan as she steps into a new role within the quiz show franchise. Madhuri’s association with Kon Honar Crorepati also marks an important milestone for the franchise. She is stepping into a format that has previously been helmed by popular names. Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 continues to be among the most-watched shows in the Indian entertainment landscape.
Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 airs every Monday to Friday at 9:00 PM only on Sony Entertainment Television and streams on Sony LIV!
