Actress Urvashi Upadhyay, who is winning hearts with her portrayal of Kusum in “Mangal Lakshmi”, continues to receive immense love from audiences for her performance.

Beyond her on-screen success, Urvashi has now opened up about her deeply personal fitness journey, sharing a message of self-love, discipline, and rediscovering oneself.
Talking about weight gain, Urvashi said, “Weight gain kab ho jata hai, pata hi nahi chalta. Yeh dheere-dheere body par aata rehta hai aur humein ehsaas bhi nahi hota.” Drawing a beautiful comparison, she added, “Hum roz apne ghar ki dusting karte hain, lekin kahin na kahin hum apne body aur soul ko bhool jaate hain. Phir ek din woh humein signal dete hain aur kehte hain, ‘Ab meri bhi thodi dusting kar do.’”
What makes her journey truly inspiring is that she never compared herself to anyone else. “Maine kisi aur ko target nahi banaya. Maine apni hi ek purani photo ko apna goal rakha,” she shared. For Urvashi, the goal was never just weight loss. “Main bas uss version of myself tak wapas pahunchna chahti thi jahan main khud ko pehchanti thi. Mujhe ussi Urvashi se dobara milna tha.”
Calling self-discovery her biggest motivation, she said, “Sabse pehle mujhe khud se milna tha. Aur mere liye wahi sabse bada motivation tha.”
Urvashi also highlighted the importance of discipline and realistic goal-setting. Instead of chasing drastic results, she broke her journey into smaller milestones. “Maine apne weight loss goal ko ek saal ki timeline di, phir usse months, weeks aur days mein divide kiya.” She believes that small, achievable goals build confidence and consistency.
Living in the present remains her mantra. “Mera focus bas aaj par rehta hai. Agar aaj ko achhe se jee liya aur aaj ka kaam kar liya, toh kal apne aap better ho jaayega.” Her journey serves as a powerful reminder that true transformation begins with reconnecting with oneself.
