Actor Sameer Patil, who plays Gopal in the hit television show Tumm Se Tumm Tak, is riding high on the excitement surrounding the show’s most monumental storyline yet. In a candid chat, Sameer opened up about receiving the grandest wedding invitation on television this year — and what fans can expect from the much-awaited wedding track.
When the wedding invitation from the house of Aryavardhan arrived, Sameer said it left him genuinely awestruck. The package was nothing short of regal — containing an idol of Ganesha, two candles, and two large boxes of dry fruits, all nestled alongside a magnificent invitation card.
“There was a huge invitation card on which Anu and Aryavardhan ji’s names were written in golden letters. Seeing it made us feel so good. We were genuinely very happy,” Sameer recalled with evident emotion.
But it wasn’t just the contents that impressed him — it was the entire experience of receiving it.
“It was like a royal decree. A proper royal announcement,” he said.
And given who it came from, that description fits perfectly.
“But obviously, it’s the wedding invitation of India’s top businessman, Aryavardhan ji, and that too with our girl, our daughter Anu. What more could anyone want?”
Ever the entertainer, Sameer had a memorable message for fans eagerly waiting for the wedding episodes to unfold.
“Fasten your seatbelts because we are now about to take flight on this wedding journey. So all of you stay ready and enjoy this journey because there’s a lot that will be presented to you one after another, and you all are going to enjoy it a lot,” he said.
Then, with his signature touch of humour, he added a playful word of caution:
“But keep your parachute beside you too… because sometimes you may also feel like jumping out.”
It’s the kind of comment that hints at twists, dramatic turns, and the emotional rollercoaster that Tumm Se Tumm Tak has always delivered — and Sameer Patil clearly relishes every bit of it.
While Sameer was generous with his enthusiasm, he also teased that his on-screen character, Gopal ji, would be the one to give fans the real inside scoop on what’s coming next.
“Gopal ji and Pushpa ji will tell you a little more about that,” he said with a knowing smile, leaving viewers with plenty to look forward to.
