The improvement has been holistic since I started training under Narendra Yadav: Amal Sehrawat

Actor Amal Sehrawat, who has been working across platforms, is very focused when it comes to his fitness. For quite some time, he has been training under IFBB Pro Narendra Yadav, and since then, he has become very active in his fitness regime.

Sharing more on that, he says,

“I started training under Narendra Yadav around three years ago when we met at a friend’s place in Mumbai. During our conversation, we discussed fitness in depth and got to understand each other’s perspectives and approaches towards training. I also shared my professional requirements and fitness goals with him. Keeping my goals and physical condition in mind, he designed a detailed diet plan and workout schedule specifically for me. I started following the regime sincerely, and even after he returned to Delhi, we continued staying connected online. He would regularly monitor and correct my workout movements virtually, and that’s how this journey began.”

Amal adds,

“The improvement has been holistic since I started training under Narendra Yadav. My training with Narendra Sir actually began with meditation, as he strongly believes that a calm mind is the foundation of a strong body. According to him, if the mind is not relaxed and focused, achieving the desired physical results becomes extremely difficult. Once the mind is calm and prepared, he takes me through gruelling workout sessions for which I’m already mentally conditioned through meditation. This unique approach towards fitness has helped me develop not just a well-balanced physique, but also stronger mental discipline.”

Amal also shares how he has now started giving more importance to warm-ups and stretching, which play a major role in preventing injuries and maintaining longevity in fitness.

Amal has also started doing yoga. He says,

“We also practise yoga sessions three times a week, which has helped me build flexibility along with strength. For an actor, having a flexible and agile physique is truly a blessing, and this training method has benefited me immensely, both physically and mentally. Narendra Yadav has truly taken his fitness journey to an international level after recently earning his IFBB Pro Card. He is now preparing for Mr. Olympia, and his dedication, discipline, hard work, and consistency speak volumes about the kind of athlete and mentor he is. He began his career by winning a Gold Medal at Mr. India Bodybuilding, and today, after achieving the prestigious IFBB Pro Card, he is aiming for one of the biggest stages in bodybuilding, Mr. Olympia. That itself reflects how inspiring and progressive his journey has been.”

Amal shares what he admires most about Narendra. He says,

“From being a national champion to now competing at the international level, his journey clearly shows that with focus, patience, and relentless hard work, growth never stops. His career graph is truly onwards and upwards. Narendra Yadav has always given me guidance that goes beyond just physical fitness. After witnessing the growing mental pressure in the entertainment industry, he constantly advises me to practise meditation daily and stay away from the rat race. He often shares examples from his own life and says that a person may get knocked down many times in life, but what truly matters is having the courage to rise again and restart the journey every single time. His feedback has always been focused not just on building a strong physique, but also on developing mental strength, patience, and emotional balance, qualities that are extremely important in both fitness and the entertainment industry.”
