His role in the Zee TV show Jagriti: Ek Nayi Subah, which ended in January, made him even more popular on screen. Fans are still talking about his performance even though the show is over, and they can’t wait to see what he does next.

Sagar has played a lot of different roles on TV over the years. He has acted in a lot of different types of movies and TV shows, from sad family dramas to stories for kids. It’s interesting that the praise he’s gotten over the years is now showing up in the kinds of parts he’s getting.

Speaking about the response to his work, Sagar shared that the love from viewers has been steadily growing with every project.

“The love I have received after every show that I have done has been growing. My fan base, my audience, has been growing, who love my work and appreciate my work, not only in the outer world but also among people who are a part of the industry,” he said.

Because of this growing recognition, the actor revealed that he is now receiving offers that focus more on layered storytelling and strong character arcs.

“So yeah, I have been getting a lot of interesting offers that are more character-driven and layered, which is very true,” Sagar explained.

Looking back at his journey, the actor credited some of his previous shows for helping him explore different sides of his craft.

“Over the years, shows like Anupamaa, Jagriti: Ek Nayi Subah, and Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan have allowed me to explore different spaces as an actor. Like they have been completely different from each other,” he shared.

Talking about Jagriti: Ek Nayi Subah in particular, Sagar said the role was creatively satisfying. Revealing why he thinks so, Sagar stated,

“In Jagriti: Ek Nayi Subaha, I got the opportunity to play multiple shades in a character, which, creatively, was very satisfying.”

He also recalled the warm response he received for his role in Anupamaa.

“In Anupamaa, I played a very sweet, loving, caring boy who deeply loves his mother, and that character, too, received an immense amount of love from the audience.”

Sagar believes that such diverse experiences have helped him gain recognition within the industry as well.

“I think because of such good shows and experiences, I’m now getting offers that challenge me as an actor and also allow me to explore even more depth in storytelling,” he said, adding, “Now people have started recognising me and offering me good work and believing that I can pull it off.”
