Actor Kanwar Dhillon, who plays Sachin in Udne Ki Aasha, produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales Production, is currently winning hearts for a gripping and engaged sequence in the show. The actor recently shared about the intriguing track where his character goes undercover to expose the truth.
He revealed that Sachin takes on the look of a beggar as part of a well-thought-out plan.
“Sachin takes on the look of a beggar; he goes in disguise. To expose Renuka—because she is involved in something shady—he plans to record how she actually treats the poor,” he said.
Talking about the storyline, Kanwar explained how Renuka’s actions are merely a façade.
“There is a track running where Renuka is putting an act. She pretends to feed the poor and donates things just to show that she is a kind hearted person. Her main aim is to earn a doctorate tag so that she can put up the name ‘Dr. Renuka Deshmukh’ at her yoga center,” he added.
The actor further shared,
“Sachin has been tracking her action for quite some time, and he realizes that she is doing something wrong by showing fake sympathy towards the poor. So, disguised as a beggar and starts asking her for alms—to the extent that she picks up a stone to hit him. Meanwhile, he gets the entire incident recorded through Sayali.”
What makes the sequence even more engaging is Sachin’s unique style of revealing the truth.
“He turns this into a sort of film—he presents it at home as ‘Sachin Deshmukh Presents,’ and in that process, exposes everything, even bringing out the truth from Shakuntala,” Kanwar said.
Calling it a standout moment, he concluded,
“This disguise is a part of that plan. It’s quite a fun element, but at the same time, it strongly highlights the reality behind pretence.”
