Actress Dimpal Singh is all set to surprise her fans as she enters the upcoming reality show The 50.
Sharing her excitement, she says,
“I was very happy when I got the offer because I always wanted to work with Endemol. Whatever they create is always big and well-planned.”
Talking about saying yes to the show, Dimpal adds,
“Of course I thought about it for some time. Reality shows affect your image, and this format is completely new. Nobody knows what will happen inside. But then I felt that I haven’t done a reality show in a long time, and this kind of platform gives you a strong boost. So I said yes.”
With 50 celebrities entering the house, the pressure is high, but Dimpal remains positive. She says,
“It is mental pressure for sure, but I am ready. Another Bhojpuri superstar is also coming, and we are good friends. Bhojpuri culture is fun, so people will enjoy watching us together.”
Speaking about her bond with Neelam, she adds,
“She is a very close friend. I have known her since her first song. She is lovely and very real. Inside the house, things can get complicated, but true friends remain true even after the game.”
On choosing The 50 over Bigg Boss, Dimpal says,
“This show is new in India. First shows are always special, like first love or first film. We will make it a super-duper hit.”
Talking about support from Manoj Tiwari, she shares,
“He guided me when I started singing in Banaras. He told me to stay real and strong. I say things on people’s faces. I am not sweet poison.”
She also praises Pawan Singh and says,
“He is the real power star. He supported me a lot and never showed any ego. He is like a coconut – hard outside but soft inside.”
About industry struggles, Dimpal adds,
“Sometimes I lose work just because a hero is not comfortable. It hurts. The industry is male-dominated, but girls are now speaking up.”
Ending on a bold note, she says,
“I am mentally and physically ready. If the Lion’s rules suit me, I will follow them. If not, I will break them.”
