Udne Ki Aasha is one of those shows where the entire cast brings their A-game in every episode making the viewing experience more entertaining and thrilling. And an actor who deserves immense appreciation is Puru Chibber who essays the role of Tejas Deshmukh on the show.
From the start of the show, Puru has played his role with finesse making every nuance of Tejas so real. Even though Tejas commits one blunder after the next, and regularly lands his family in a soup, he is a character you just cannot hate. There are times when I pity Tejas, and to bring out that emotion in a viewer while playing a grey character, is only a testament to the actor’s abilities to make every shade of their character seen and felt. Puru deserves full credit for the work he has put in to achieve this.
His chemistry with all his co-stars deserves praise, whether it’s with his on-screen wife Tanvi Shewale (Roshni), brother Kanwar Dhillon (Sachin) or mother, Radhika Vidyasagar (Renuka), each scene with them, and the rest of the cast is superb to watch.
One of the key reasons Tejas is so loved is the comedy quotient in the character, and this too is perfectly executed by Puru.
From being Renu’s laadla to Sachin’s Khajur, or just Tejas being the “bohot bada businessman” he is, Puru Chibber has been consistently giving a praiseworthy performance which deserves praise.
