Hitesh Bharadwaj has been an actor par excellence with his roles across television shows like Choti Sarrdaarni and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, to name a few. While he is currently demonstrating his acting chops on the thriller series Aami Dakini, Hitesh has embarked on a new journey to express one of his other talents – songwriting.
Hitesh has teamed up with singer and composer Shaantanu Sing for the song “Mann Ka Panchi.” Hitesh serves as the actor, lyricist, and producer of the song, while Shaantanu as the singer, composer, and Hitesh’s co-producer. However, the song features much more that promotes Indian music and culture. From instruments like the rabab and bhapang, to featuring the Kathakali dance form, their debut song and music video is absolutely delightful to watch.
The song is an emotional one, highlighting the daily struggles we all go through, and how, even after giving our all, it sometimes feels like it’s still not enough. We can often feel like we’re going nowhere in our pursuits. Along with the amazing lyrics and soulful voice, the music video showcases real people and situations you find around a city, and Hitesh beautifully portrays the inner battles a seeker experiences.
