Randeep R Rai, best known for his charming on-screen presence, is currently winning hearts with his layered performance as Aryan in Deepa Shahi and Rajan Shahi’s hit series Anupamaa. Having carved a niche for himself with his boy-next-door roles, Randeep has now taken a bold leap into more intense territory.

Reflecting on his television journey, the actor opened up about being part of one of the most-watched shows on Indian television.

“After 10 years, I finally got the chance to be part of such a big show,” he confessed.

Though he initially experienced some jitters stepping onto such a major set, he quickly found his rhythm and is now thoroughly enjoying portraying Aryan.

Describing Aryan, Randeep revealed the character’s darker edges.

“He cannot stand seeing his mother happy and will do anything to make her miserable because of the pain she caused him,” he explained, showcasing his ability to tackle emotionally intense roles.

Breaking away from his earlier image, Randeep is embracing this transition with enthusiasm.

“It was time to learn something new. I plan to explore different kinds of roles in the coming years, possibly even in mythological shows,” he revealed, hinting at exciting plans ahead.

Looking back at his past work, he spoke about the creative satisfaction of playing grey characters.

“It’s thrilling to play intense roles like burning photos or creating chaos. It’s a different kick,” he said, adding a new dimension to his acting journey that contrasts with his previous sweet, idealistic roles.

When it comes to professional challenges, Randeep remains grounded and optimistic.

“Whatever is meant to happen will happen,” he said, noting that he’s grown to accept rejections as part of the process. His belief in destiny has kept him steady through the highs and lows of the entertainment industry.

On the personal front, Randeep is single but open to settling down through traditional means.

“I believe in arranged marriage. The process has already started, and it’s a good way to get to know someone from the beginning,” he shared with a smile.

As he continues to evolve both professionally and personally, Randeep R Rai remains focused on one goal—living fully and meaningfully.

“Life is beautiful, and I just want to look back in 20 years and say, ‘I lived it happily,’” he concluded.
