Adrija Roy, currently seen as Rahi in Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi’s hit show Anupamaa, is winning hearts not just with her nuanced portrayal but also with the bonds she’s building off camera. Full of life and positivity, Adrija recently shared insights into the upbeat vibe on set and her close-knit relationship with her co-actors.
“We have so much fun together!” says Adrija, speaking about the camaraderie she shares with her co-actors.
“Since the day Randeep entered the show, our bond has been great. We laugh a lot and genuinely enjoy each other’s company.”
When asked whether she feels a stronger connection with Prem or Mohit, Adrija responds with honesty and affection.
“It’s really hard to compare. I have different kinds of connections with each person on set – be it my on-screen parents, Prem, or Mohit. You can’t compare emotions. But when you’re around people your age, the vibe just clicks. When the three of us sit together, we have conversations that can’t even be shared on camera!”
Her connection isn’t limited to her peers. Adrija has also begun sharing a growing bond with Rahil Azam, who plays her on-screen father-in-law.
“Everyone on set shares a good bond. Some people you open up to more easily. Like now, I’ve started bonding more with Papa (Rahil sir) too,” she reveals.
The warmth on set extends beyond just the human cast.
“Even the dogs on set are like artists! They roam around like celebs too. I’ve bonded with them as well,” she says with a laugh.
It’s this infectious mix of joy, camaraderie, and companionship that gives Anupamaa its heart—on and off screen. And for Adrija Roy, it’s clearly more than just a role; it’s an experience to cherish.
