Ashnoor Kaur, who essays the titular role of Suman in the television drama Suman Indori, has confirmed that the show is drawing to a close. The final episode is slated to air on April 27, with the team having wrapped up filming on April 22.
Reflecting on the show’s sudden conclusion, Ashnoor expressed her emotions about bidding farewell to a character she held close.
“I don’t know why the show is ending, but it feels heart-wrenching to let go of something that became a part of me. I’ve been playing and living Suman for a year, and I feel very connected to her,” she shared.
The actress also spoke fondly about the camaraderie on set.
“We used to have meals together and work like a family. I’m definitely going to miss that. I know every show has to end someday, but this feels very sudden.”
Speaking about her collaboration with the show’s creators, she added,
“Working with Studio LSD and our producers Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah was amazing. They’re very supportive, creative, and treat everyone with so much respect. I’ve learnt a lot while working with them and feel really lucky to have been part of this team.”
As for what’s next, Ashnoor revealed she’s not planning on an extended break.
“There are some exciting projects in the pipeline, but I can’t share much yet. My birthday is coming up, so I’ll go on a small trip with my family before jumping back into work. I’m looking for content that’s meaningful and interesting.”
