Actor Mishkat Varma, who has captivated audiences with his charming performances, is set to take on the lead role of Om Vajpayee in Ram Bhavan, a family drama produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary under Rolling Tales Production for Colors TV. The show promises an engaging narrative with complex character dynamics, and Mishkat is thrilled to portray a role that challenges him as an actor.

“The most challenging aspect of playing Om is portraying someone who is quite different from myself. Usually, I play characters that share some similarities with me, but it’s rare to get a role that is completely unlike who I am. However, Om is very different from Mishkat. I truly hope I do justice to the character and don’t disappoint my makers, who have shown me immense love, respect, and trust. I just want to make them proud and hope the show performs well,” he shared.

Speaking about his working experience, Mishkat had high praise for producer Rahul Kumar Tewary and the production house.

“Rahul sir is unlike any other producer I have worked with on Indian television. I have never met a man like him—he is truly one of a kind. They don’t make men like him anymore. He is incredibly friendly, respectful, and always available for his team. You can call him anytime, and he will always be there for you. At the same time, he never hesitates to give honest feedback, which is great. Rolling Tales, as a production house, is full of hardworking individuals who treat actors with kindness and respect. There’s never any negativity on set, and it’s a very positive working environment.”

As for what sets Ram Bhavan apart, Mishkat explains,

“I wouldn’t claim that this show is completely different from other shows—family drama is a common theme across television. However, what sets Ram Bhavan apart is the way it has been treated. The storytelling is not overly dramatic; instead, it’s grounded in realism. Even the cinematography reflects this realistic approach.”

The show focuses on intense family dynamics, with Om, Isha, and Gayatri constantly clashing. Mishkat Varma believes this tension will keep audiences hooked.

“The dynamics between the main characters in Ram Bhavan are quite intriguing. Om and Gayatri don’t get along. Om and Isha don’t get along. Even Gayatri and Isha don’t get along. So essentially, none of the central characters like each other. However, they are all forced to navigate through life together, and when they end up undaer the same roof, things get really interesting.”

With a fresh narrative approach and strong characters, Ram Bhavan aims to capture the audience’s hearts. The show airs at 8:30 PM, and Mishkat hopes viewers will tune in and give it the love it deserves.
