Parineetii by Balaji Telefilms is one of the shows on television which enjoys a loyal fan-following and has a unique charm which keeps its viewers engaged. The show recently took a one-year leap, and the new story has infused some fantastic energy!
Before the leap, Neeti, Gurinder and Rakesh push Pari down a cliff, fearing that Pari will expose their misdeeds. Unfortunately, Pari also sees Rajeev lifting a rock and wrongfully assumes that even he was involved in her attempted murder. Pari gets rescued by Ambika Singhania, a woman healing wounds of her own, and takes Pari in as her daughter.
One year later, we see Pari, now called Parvati, mentored by Ambika on personal and professional fronts. Parvati a.k.a. Pari, is now a confident and smart woman and has vowed to take revenge on Neeti, Rajeev and the rest of the people who betrayed her. Ambika decides to pave the way for Pari by signing a deal with Rajeev’s business. Rajeev and the rest of the family have seen Parvati and are deeply curious whether she is Pari.
While this change in story comes as a refreshing chapter for the show and its audience, the characters also seem more interesting and are backed by great performances. Anchal Sahu puts on a stellar act as Parvati, embodying grace and power. Shilpa Saklani’s addition is also a major boost, as her performance as Ambika is praiseworthy. Tanvi Dogra takes her negative shades of Neeti to another level, while Ankur Verma wins your heart as someone with a deep longing for Pari while he is trapped in a relationship with Neeti. More is yet to be revealed about the rest of the characters, and we cannot wait for it!
Parineetii airs Monday to Sunday on Colors at 7:30 p.m. in India, South Africa and the UK, and ET at 7 p.m. and PT at 8:30 p.m. in the US.
