Why Udne Ki Aasha’s Sachin and Sailee is an incredibly realistic couple

Udne Ki Aasha, produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales, is enjoying a great run on screens. The show has a fresh and stand-out story on television, and the performances of its cast are just some of the reasons why the show has become a must-watch. One of the observations in this show is how realistic Sachin and Sailee are as a couple.
Sachin (Kanwar Dhillon) and Sailee (Neha Harsora) got married due to unexpected circumstances and never saw eye to eye. As time flies by, the two are slowly learning more about each other and will likely soon give flight to each other’s dreams, but what exactly makes them so realistic?
Sachin and Sailee are presented in a way quite similar to people we come across every day. Let’s take their recent bus scenes for example. Sachin stood in the bus but was still near Sailee, and this was something that looked so familiar. Sailee, on the other hand, was quite eager to talk to the passengers near her and showcased friendliness – also something you come across often. These may be small things, but they make a big impact.
In the recent Mahasangam with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Ishan and Savi played a bit of Truth or Dare with Sachin and Sailee. Sachin had to do a catwalk, and while it was hilarious to watch, Sachin did it as if no one was watching. This, of course, shows Kanwar Dhillon’s ability to sink deep into Sachin without any inhibitions. This gave a very realistic touch too.
In the latest episode, Sachin and Sailee sat down at a dhaba, and Sailee was hesitant to order anything because of Sachin’s recent comments. She then took out a lunch box with puri bhaji, which got spoiled. Once again, something seemingly insignificant but so realistic given the challenges common people face due to travelling and hot weather. Neha Harsora also displayed her prowess during these scenes. Her conversation with the owner of the dhaba was quite special and inspiring too.
To add to these, the comedy moments between Sachin and Sailee are delightful to watch. Their nok-jhok moments again reflect realistic issues which make you have a hearty laugh.
Udne Ki Aasha’s writing, coupled with its fine performances, make this show one that stands out on television.
We hope this continues and we can finally have a breakaway from the love-triangle sagas that mostly occupy the fiction space of TV.
Udne Ki Aasha airs every day on Star Plus in India and South Africa, on Utsav Plus in the UK, and streams on Hulu in the US. The episodes are airing for 45 minutes at present.
