Gudi Padwa, also known as Samvatsar Padvo, marks the beginning of the Marathi new year and is a cherished occasion for Maharashtrians worldwide. Celebrating the essence of Gudi Padwa, popular actor Gashmeer Mahajani recently shared heartwarming pictures on his social media alongside his family, extending warm greetings to all on the auspicious day.
Reflecting on the significance of the festival, Mahajani expressed his sentiments, emphasizing that the occasion is a symbol of new beginnings & on this auspicious occasion being with family is paramount.
“With our profession it’s not always possible but I have been lucky enough to get to spend this day with my family for the last couple of years” adds Gashmeer.
Gashmeer expressed,
“Every year, I eagerly celebrate Gudi Padwa with my loved ones, engaging in the traditional rituals including the puja to usher in the new year and raising the gudi. Our celebrations are incomplete without relishing authentic Maharashtrian delicacies such as Puri aaloo ki sabji, shrikhand, and other traditional dishes.”
