Over the last few months, Sony TV has been releasing teasers of its upcoming show Srimad Ramayan which will bring the Ramayan back to our television screens. Produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Swastik Productions, the show is said to be one of the grandest shows to come on television.

The launch date has been revealed by Sony TV, and it will premiere on 1 January 2024 at 9 p.m. The announcement promo looks absolutely stunning, and with its breathtaking visuals, will make viewers revisit the period in which the Ramayan took place.
Sujay Reu will be playing the role of Lord Ram, while Prachi Bansal will be portraying Goddess Sita. Basant Bhatt will be playing the role of Lakshman, with Nirbhay Wadhwa playing the role of Hanuman. Also part of the cast is Shilpa Agnihotri and Vaidehi Nair, while Aarav Chowdhary is said to be portraying King Dashrath. Nikitin Dheer will be making his return to television, as he is all set to play Ravan.
