Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is Indian television’s longest-running drama, and so far, we have witnessed three generations of couples who left their mark in television history. It is time to welcome the next generation as we gear up to be part of Akshara’s daughter’s journey.
Star Plus has revealed the promo for the fourth generation of the show, and it looks promising! Saavi Ki Savaari fame actress Samridhii Shukla is introduced as Abhira. The promo shows Abhira’s dream of becoming a lawyer just like her mother, and can be seen being a responsible citizen. We also see Abhira have a cute argument with her mother, Akshara.
While we are yet to learn more about her, it seems she is intelligent and street-smart and values her family as a picture of her parents, Akshara and Abhinav is seen in the promo. The new generation will debut on our screens on the 6 November 2023, with Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami being the couple taking the legacy forward. Actors Preeti Amin, Shruti Rawat, Sandeep Rajora, and veteran actress Anita Raj are also said to be part of the new chapter.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai airs Monday to Sunday at 9:30 p.m. in India, South Africa, and the UK. It is also streaming on Hulu in the US.
