Festive season kick started with Navratri and Durga Puja, which will be followed by Karwa Chauth and Diwali. The vibe and atmosphere of every city gets different and joyous. Mehul Vyas is soaking in all the happiness and celebrations happening all around. The actor, who plays Moksh in Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai, talks about how excited he is.

“This is the best time of the year for me. For me the vibe in Mumbai is the best. We celebrate all the festivals with great excitement and zeal. The festive season is celebrated very well in the country but for me I would always want to be in Mumbai, my home during the festive season,” he says.
Festive season also brings in a lot of positivity and vibrance.
“Festive season brings positive vibes for me. Each and every festival has it’s own importance and significance. It uplifts my mood and makes me very happy and excited since childhood. Celebrations are an integral part of the festivals and bring the society together. Celebrations are incomplete during this time if they aren’t celebrated together with loved ones. Friends, family and colleagues bond during festivals and create memories which we cherish for life. So I certainly agree that good company is always important during festivals. khushiyan baatne se badti hai,” he smiles.
Mehul’s favourite festival is Diwali.
“The festival of lights always makes me connected to my roots. It reminds me to have morals, do good karma, have a holistic approach in life and take everything positively and celebrate life along with celebrating the victory of Good over Evil,” he adds.
Previously we used to plan well in advance about festivals but nowadays we celebrate instantly and gifting patterns and meeting people on festivals has also changed. Rather than making calls, these days we wish each other via messages.
“With changing times, we certainly have become very busy in life. Technology has it’s advantages and disadvantages. I still remember, before the Internet era we used to make efforts to wish and bond. I still miss those times but nowadays just like how i acknowledge, People are too realising that we should not take it for granted rather take efforts and make our festivals memorable. So in my opinion we should embrace the traditional way of celebrations alongside evolving in modern society,”he says.
