Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 is currently airing every weekend on Colors. While much fanfare and enthusiasm surround the show, watching the contestants perform the unusual and daredevil-type tasks certainly makes the viewers tense, especially for their favourites.
This past weekend saw the contestants take on a challenger, and it was none other than host Rohit Shetty himself. If each contestant completes their task as per the target set, they earn a star. And if they don’t, it goes to Rohit Shetty. In a nail-biting finish, Rohit Shetty finished off with six stars, while the Khiladis had five. This result meant elimination had to take place.
Shiv Thakare landed in the elimination stunt, and while he completed the task, his timing was a little more than his competitor’s. Unfortunately for Shiv, it meant his journey on the show ends. Shiv expressed his positive outlook on the situation and took it in with a smile. He even gave his wishes to his friend Dino to bag the trophy. Rohit Shetty surprised the Khiladis with a non-elimination announcement which meant Shiv gets to stay and fight on!
While fans are happy they still get to see more of their favourite Khiladi on-screen, they appreciated how Shiv handled the initial news of his elimination. Check out two of their tweets which capture the overall feelings of the fans:
