Until now, the show has presented how Shiva and Shakti come together when there is a purpose to fulfil for the betterment of the universe. It also shows the story of the separation between them and how gradually Shiva and Shakti will soon unite. Portraying the role of Shiva is Ram Yashvardhan, while Subha Rajput plays Shakti.

Both actors effortlessly perform their respective roles, and the viewers can already sense great chemistry between both actors. Ram Yashvardhan plays Shiva with full conviction and tenderness at the same time. One can’t help but fall in love with his on-screen presence. Subha Rajput adds grace and gentleness to Shakti while also going all out to portray the powerful side of Shakti. Other cast members also give their all to their characters, with some of the other cast members being; Srikant Dwivedi as Vishnu, Sheetal Tiwari as Lakshmi, Deepak Bhatia as Brahma and Shalini Vishnudev as Saraswati. Vishwajeet Pradhan brings full force to his role of Prajapati Daksh, and Puneet Vashisht makes his portrayal of Narada loveable too.

The sets on the show are visually pleasing, and designer Omung Kumar has achieved a blend between exquisiteness and simplicity. The dialogues are simple yet heartfelt, which makes the story easy to follow and understand.

It is great to see the comeback of historical shows with Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav. The show will appeal to a new generation of viewers who will hopefully find the show educational and entertaining at the same time.
