The show, which is a spin-off of the iconic Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has been constantly making its predecessor proud by reaching new milestones each time. Yeh Hai Chahatein has now officially hit the 1000-episode mark, a feat which often seems impossible in today’s time.

Since the start, the cast blew away the audience with their fine performances, be it Abrar Qazi’s sincere and intense portrayal of rockstar Rudraksh, the genuine and powerful performance of Sargun Kaur Luthra as Dr Preesha, or even the heartwarming and effortless performance of Mallika Nayak as Sharda-Rudraksh’s mother. Even the children part of the show, have always put their best foot forward.

Yeh Hai Chahatein is a show where even the negative characters have received a lot of love. For example Aishwarya Sakhuja’s sassy and stylish Ahana, and the cunning yet goofy Yuvraj, played by Siddharth Shivpuri.

The show never stopped giving reasons to love it. At the heart of it all has been the fine chemistry between Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra. The pair has always made every new track enjoyable with the love between their characters.

After Rudraksh and Preesha, the two actors are now playing Samrat and Nayantara, after a re-incarnation-based change took place. The show is all set to introduce a new pairing, Kashvi and Arjun (Shagun Sharma and Pravisht Mishra), who will help take the story forward along with Samrat and Nayantara.

Here’s wishing hearty Congratulations to the entire team of Yeh Hai Chahatein (past and present) and a big congratulations to all the fans too!

Produced by Balaji Telefilms, Yeh Hai Chahatein airs Monday to Sunday on Star Plus at 10:30 p.m. (India), 10 p.m. (South Africa) and at 8:30 p.m. on Utsav Plus (United Kingdom).
