Actress Karishma Sawant, who plays the role of Arohi in the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai produced by Rajan Shahi (Directors Kut Production), is loving the present celebratory feel in the show. The show is all set to celebrate the festival of Gangaur.
“Being a part of the onscreen Gangaur Celebrations is wonderful because I don’t think it would have been possible for me to celebrate this festival otherwise. It is only because of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai that I have gotten to know about the Rajasthani culture so well and all the details are also being taken care of properly. There’s costume, jewellery, makeup, the set, folk dances, functions, festivals. So Rajan Sir has presented a very authentic culture of Udaipur since the show has a Rajasthani backdrop,” she says.
Talking about the costumes, Karishma says that she loves them.
“Of course, I loved it because women look the most beautiful in their traditional outfits, Rajasthani Poshak being one of them,” she says.
Meanwhile people are loving the Rajasthani look and feel in the show.
“When people say that we take them to the city of Rajasthan that is Udaipur because of the traditional look that we carry in the show has to be the best compliment received,” she ends.
